Wooster Architecture & Design
An architecture and interiors practice led by directors Danielle and Aaron Wooster, working across Australia and internationally. The studio is defined by a timeless design ethos, shaped by clarity of space and a restrained architectural language. Each project is approached with precision and consideration, resulting in spaces that feel timeless, enduring, and refined.
The practice is intentionally small, focusing on a limited number of projects each year, allowing for close collaboration and meaningful relationships with clients. Projects are shaped through thoughtful dialogue and mutual trust, fostering a process that is both considered and enjoyable, resulting in architectural outcomes that resonate with shared vision.
Central to the practice is the belief that the success of architecture and design is grounded in rigorous spatial planning. Spaces are carefully composed with order, proportion, and discipline, establishing a strong foundation from which each project evolves. Materiality is thoughtfully considered, favouring honest, tactile materials whose character emerges through simplicity, refined detailing, and the harmony of elements brought together intentionally. The work is characterised by purity — architecture and interiors that balance aesthetic sensibility with longevity, durability, and function.
While widely recognised for high-end residential projects, the studio is not defined by a single typology. Wooster Architecture & Design engages in work across scales and disciplines, from complete new builds and renovations to interiors, right down to the creative direction of furniture and artwork. Projects are chosen for alignment of vision and intent, grounded in the understanding that thoughtful design principles translate meaningfully across sectors.
